About Our Brand.

Luna Eden is on the lookout for fresh,  particularly in the genres of historical fiction, cosy crime, and fantasy. We believe that the power of storytelling lies in its ability to transport readers to different worlds while also weaving together intricate plots and relatable characters.

In historical fiction, we seek manuscripts that delve into lesser-known events or figures, bringing history to life through rich narratives and vivid descriptions. Whether set in ancient civilisations or more recent eras, we want to see how authors can breathe new life into the past.

For cosy crime, we’re eager to discover charming mysteries that engage readers with suspenseful plots and endearing protagonists. We seek stories that strike a balance between intrigue and warmth, as well as an inviting atmosphere that encourages readers to engage with the characters and solve mysteries alongside them.

Lastly, in the realm of fantasy, we are interested in innovative worlds complete with unique systems of magic, diverse cultures, and compelling quests. We hope to find inventive narratives that push the boundaries of imagination while resonating with universal themes.

Luna Eden Publishing welcomes submissions that challenge conventions, offering readers new adventures that spark curiosity and delight.

At Luna Eden Publishing, we believe that publishing should be a collaborative process between authors, editors, designers, and readers. We are committed to providing a platform that fosters creativity, supports diverse voices, and connects writers with their readers.

Please read carefully

English language only, please.

First and foremost, we want to express our sincere appreciation for your interest in sharing your manuscript with Luna Eden.

  • We highly value your work and are honoured to consider it for traditional publication.
  • We are looking for submissions in women's fiction, historical fiction, crime and mystery, and otherworldly fiction, which could be a magical combination.
  • We are particularly interested in manuscripts with main or secondary characters who represent diversity, equity, and inclusion. Whilst we understand that fiction can either exclude or portray people in a negative light, we would encourage our authors to write about these issues in a balanced way.

Consider this before sending your pitch:

What guidance would be provided at the cinema? If it's an 18, please don't send it. We would love to see anything 12, PG, or Universal (and would consider things that might fall under a 15 rating).

Please note that we are not looking for Graphic violence or erotica.

  1. Graphic violence refers to vivid, brutal, and realistic acts of violence depicted in the media.
  2. Erotica refers to art that portrays or describes sexual activity with the intention of arousing sexual feelings.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion encompass people from diverse racial, ethnic, religious, ability, gender, and sexual orientation backgrounds.

When submitting your literary work, it's important to provide a complete overview of it. This should include the title of your piece, its length, genre, and a brief premise, as well as a pitch of up to 500 words. Additionally, you should clearly identify your targeted audience and explain how your book fits into the current market landscape. Lastly, don't forget to include a brief bio that showcases your writing qualifications or experience. (Luna Eden Publishing will accept a link to your author page.)  It is a tall order, but it can be done. Please keep it in standard font (no handwriting fonts).

You will be offered a three-year traditional publishing agreement with no advance against future royalties, with options to renew or dissolve after that period. There will be functions to cancel within the agreement before the three-year period.

We will cover all publishing and distribution costs, and will pay for the initial extensive marketing cost up front (Please see below for ongoing promotions).  Rest assured, we are committed to transparency and fairness throughout the process.

Your royalties will be fixed for the three years at 45% of profits on your book.

Luna Eden will take 45% of profits and put aside an additional 10% of the profits for future marketing. If no profits are made or fall below £100 per quarter, Luna Eden will pay for promotions across social media sites for that quarter and will not recoup the cost from past royalties.

(If a book costs £1.00, publishing is 50p, the profit will be 50p. 27.5p will go to the author, 27.5p will go to the publisher, and at least 5p will go towards the marketing of the book for the next quarter. You may audit the publisher yearly regarding your book.)

We are unable to provide author copies, but you may purchase up to 50 per quarter at the publishing and shipping cost.

The process of publishing a book is a comprehensive undertaking that requires a great deal of dedication and hard work. It can take up to six months to go from the initial draft to the final edit, with an additional three months required for cover design and formatting.

Please fill out the form to pitch your book!

Please note that we are not looking for explicit violence or sex!
