The Burnt Throne Saga
Thomas has been writing since he was seven and published his first book, The Erosion of Erosil (part one of The Burnt Throne), at the age of fifteen. Seven years later, he wrote three more books to add to The Burnt Throne Saga.
The ongoing conflict in Erosil has brought the continent to the brink of war. The King of Estron has seized control of Runo, forcing his adversary to respond in kind. The King of Jacarcia is calling on the people of Erosil to aid in his quest to reclaim his homeland and avenge his sister's death.
A smuggler, who grew up with the Frost of Tress, is apprehended and taken to Estron. He asserts that he is Prince Solomon, the true successor to the throne. However, the current ruler has another heir who is determined to establish a more significant legacy than his alleged sibling and father.
The First Prince of Jacarcia is imprisoned by the forces of Estron and relies on the assistance of his father's elven allies to secure his release. He pledges that neither of his rival princes will ever rule over Man's Lands.
Meanwhile, dark forces are gathering in the shadows. The Grandmistress of the Uplifted takes it upon herself to rescue her former spouse.
As war erupts throughout the Lands of Man, dragons and Mistwalkers begin to appear. The princes must embrace their fates, regardless of the sacrifices that may be required to safeguard Erosil.
The Lands of Man have finally been reunited after centuries of division under Rufus Viator's coalition. However, this unity is fragile as the Dragon King returns from the north and the Jackals continue to ravage the south. The fate of everyone in Erosil depends on the gods, as each of them selects their champions.
The Glen is in shock following the Dragon King's invasion, and memories of the Great War resurface as the Mirigad crumbles around the elves. The Lord of Olianon must forge new alliances with old enemies, while the child queen Elasha must embrace her destiny, which her mother had rejected.
The King of Orgrar is gravely ill, and his brother, Chief Barlov, announces a truce, yet rumours persist that he plans to seize the throne. The Orcs' hope rests on their nephew and his capable wife, Vynas Krath, who must choose between the affairs of Man's Lands and his homeland, Orgrar.
Dreyma Fireblood is determined to fight for the freedom of the slaves of Velakros, which puts her on a collision course with the Mistwalkers once more. Her battle for survival begins as Aeson returns to reclaim his ancient empire.
Amidst all this chaos, friends must remain vigilant of shadows, as some friends may be plotting and scheming against them.
An exclusive peek into the next instalment of The Burnt Throne Saga,
“You are not a necromancer, and neither are we.” Bainok spent a moment looking over the shelves, finding an old tome that had the last cracked remnants of the word ‘history’ emblazoned upon it. “The founders lived nearly three thousand years ago, Podaris, yet their legacy lives on.” He turned the pages delicately until he found an image of Dawnsunder in its infancy painted upon one page. There, Lierin herself stood at the foot of her great school with artefacts long lost in her hands.
“I am not Lierin either,” Podaris interrupted, sitting back in his chair. “Could we not make a new tool? I may be able to create something with greater precision.”
“My father looked into such an endeavour, as did Tarsis. The gem mines of the Great Purgehorn are barren, and the rock that held the metals that Joric smithed the staff with have long fallen into the sea. It would not be the same as the Sceptre of Ryvvik,” Alwin said mournfully. It had once been their greatest hope, but realistically only a miracle using the original sceptre could be achieved.
Thirdmoon sighed. “Very well. We will see if it can be done.”
