In the early Common Era, all the Daventombs were killed, leaving the dragons of Erosil without a master for the first time in over 500 years. The new queen, Anot Blackcloak, was seen as a liberator by some and a murderer by others. Rumours began to circulate that a new dragon king, named Draynesiris, would emerge and unite the lands of man with the help of the largest dragon the continent had ever seen. The attempts of Anot to destroy the dragons and their masters would be undone by the new Dragon King, who would be born from Blackcloak blood and sit upon the Burnt Throne.

'A world I know so well and know better now, I know the characters that live there. Looking forward to the next instalment ~ Reviewer
'This is a story of circumstance and misunderstanding. It is as much a psychological study as it is a piece of fiction. I can't recommend it enough! ~ Reviewer
'I actually found this book quite enjoyable! It filled the time well and had an intriguing story. Well done, and wish you the best for the future. ~ Reviewer

After centuries in disarray, the continent of Erosil is on the brink of war. The King of Estron has seized the city of Runo, and his rival has no choice but to act. The King of Jacarcia rallies Erosil behind him to reclaim his home and avenge his sister's death.
A smuggler, brought up by the Frost of Tress, is captured and brought to Estron. He claims to be the missing Prince Solomon, heir to the kingdom. The king has another heir, however, one who is determined to leave a greater legacy than both his supposed brother and his father.
The First Prince of Jacarcia is captured by Estron's forces, relying on his father's elven allies to save him. He vows that upon his release, neither of his rival princes will ever join Man's Lands.
Ungodly forces begin to rise again in the shadows. The Grandmistress of the Uplifted takes it upon herself to save Man's Lands and the man she once called husband.
As the Lands of Man make war, dragons awaken, and the Mistwalkers rise once more. The princes must embrace their destinies at the cost of all in Erosil.
